Permission
Only parties and persons that actively acquire e-mail communication from Company will receive e-mails from us.
We allow both company e-mail addresses and personal e-mail addresses to be submitted to our subscription lists. Company accepts no responsibility in the case of wrongly submitted e-mail addresses or e-mail addresses submitted on behalf of third parties.
Tracking
Our e-mail marketing system allows Company to see if our subscribers have opened the newsletter and if the newsletter has been recommended to colleagues or friends. We are also able to keep track of the number of new recipients through forwards and the number of subscribers generated from already existing subscribers.
Cookies
When personal information is supplied to Company (e.g. for competitions, information requests or contact fields) we have legal obligations towards the subscriber in the way we use that data. We must collect the information fairly, that is, we must explain how we will use it (see the notices on particular web pages that let the user know why we are requesting the information) and tell our subscriber if we want to pass the information on to anyone else.
We will hold the personal information on our systems for as long as we find it relevant for the sake of our user – and remove it from our system in the case that we find the request has been met or when the data has become irrelevant for both parties.
Data security
In practice, any information provided to Company will only be used by Company and our agents and service providers. Personal information will be disclosed where we are obliged or permitted by law.
Employees in Company are restricted from using the data in any external operation. Personal information is never distributed on to third party organizations outside the Company Group.
Prohibited content
Newsletters sent out from Company will not feature offensive or disruptive content. This includes any messages containing offensive comments about race, gender, age, sexual orientation, pornography, religious or political beliefs, national origin or disability.
